Re: best tranny cooler?

A stacked plate typ cooler is usually best and more effcient than a tube and fin, B&M has some nice stacked plate cooler's and they mount to the front of the rad for max cooling air flow.

Tru-Cool part number 4490. It's a "stacked plate" cooler that's about as large as you can fit on an F-Body.

As Gary stated, a stacked plate cooler is MUCH more efficiant than a tube and fin type.

Tru-Cool, and B&M coolers are both made by a company named "LONG".

A B&M Transmission Supercooler (24000 GVW) get's the job done, however adding a deeper pan will help too.
