Best shift Kit

I am going to put a shift kit in my 4L60E tranny and I was wanting to knowq what is a good kit and what i should stay away from??

Go to http://www.pro-built.net/index.cfm?f...t&productid=91 if you want the "modified" Trans-Go Performance Shift kit that is matched to your combination, this is the one that will do the job you want/expect. The late Trans-Go Performance Shift, if used "as is" leaves a lot to be desired. Trans-Go has backed off from their previous versions of the Shift kit, due to the "torque management" problems, so as to not trigger it. Once the torque management is disabled, then the "earlier" versions work like they are supposed to. The one that I carry has these modifications, and works very well. I use this in all of my Performance builds.

whats does it mean in the ad, when it says, that u can select the firmness,etc?? Do ya install certain parts for a certain level of firmness, or what?

Not to hi-jack this thread, but are these "kits" hard on your transmission? or are they actually easier on them, since the clutches aren't slipping,etc?
