Best LT1 Daily Driver Clutch

The clutch will go on a basically stock LT1 with only 4.10s, long tubes, and a hot cam kit. But I plan to have my heads ported soon and then add an S trim and a 30 over forged pistons so I want a clutch that can handle that stuff also. I have also done the search thing but cant find any real good info. I am pretty much leaning towards the SPEC Stage 3 but want to see what you guys have to say for a car with my mods and for a daily driver. Thanks

I also forgot to ask if I need carbon or ceramic disk material on the spec 3?

Don't get spec, the springs break in those. My SLP clutch is holding 375rwhp without a sweat, and has no clutch chatter at all, it drives like a stock clutch.

yup i enjoy my SLP clutch as well. Basically a stock disc with a LT4 Pressure plate/Throw out bearing. It will also be less harsh on your rear with 4:10's compared to a SPEC clutch

As far as i know the spec 3 only comes in carbon/ceramic mix these days, that is what i have been runing in my bolt on z for about 10k miles and it works great.

My friend has a Centerforce Dual Friction in his '94 LT1 and I didn't like driving it at all.
