Best clutch recommendation! Quick

I just started to accept the fact that my clutch is going out. The thing is slipping bad. (just pisses me off considering the dealer that i bought it from said it had about 1K on the new Spec 2 and now after about 6K miles its going to crap)

I was just wondering what clutch to get for my current setup plus a 100 shot and possibly headers by summer.(I would rather have more bite than less just in case)
looking to spend 500 or less

I was looking at the McLoed single disk but couldn't find much info on it. Also, I want a clutch that is going to last resonably well, and considering my luck and what i have heard I want to stay away from SPEC.

Thanks for all your help sorry for the long thread

Re: Best clutch recommendation! Quick

just order a new disc from spec, stage 3 would probably do you... cost like $200.

imo

I would NOT go with a spec. My brother in law and myself put one in his 02 camaro 4k ago and its already slipping. thats with only about 5 times at the track.

Re: Best clutch recommendation! Quick

cause that is what they told me was put in SPEC stage II

Thanks and keep it coming
especially if anyone has any experiance with the Mcloed Single disk

The clutch is probably going to make me broke for a couple of weeks but the current one makes me really want to go to the bar so it just adds wood to the fire

dude, Q blew a nine inch rearend with a stage 3, they hold!

how does the dealer know how many miles were on a spec clutch, did they put it in, i think not... i'd never believe them anyhow on anything.

They hold and chatter real nice , but do they last? What I've seen is that they don't.
