So i bought a Fidanza flywheel and a Ram HD clutch. They are going in a 383 which is internally balanced.

Do I just remove the counterweight on the flywheel to make it neutral? The only reason I am wondering is there are holes left open. Would those throw off the balance of the assembly?

Also, should I do anything about balancing the clutch, or is it fine?

Please only do a "TTT" once every 24 hours. Also, might have better luck in the Drivetrain forum... I'll move this there for ya

 

If your rotating assembly was internally balanced then your flywheel should be neutrally balanced. Removing the counter weight should put you close but to be sure I'd take it to a machine shop, along with the pressure plate and make sure that the "package" is neutrally balanced. You can't balance the clutch disk, be a little difficult to drill/add weight and it should definitely already be neutral.
