Axle code

Got the code off my parts 84 trans am rear and it reads 6EC. I know thats a 3.73 but is it posi or what?

What code is that? Not a RPO code is it? It's not in the RPO database at least.

I got the code off of the front passenger side of the rear axle. I found out what ratio it is on another site but can't find if it's posi or not
