Auto Trans Rebulid
#3
At that mileage, it isn't uncommon for an automatic tranny to start showing signs of its age. The cost for a rebuild can vary depending where you go and can easily fall in the 1200-2000 range. Personally, I would trust my tranny more with somebody who is knowledgable with the 4L60-E. There are two supporting vendors on here that know their way around these trannies and rebuild them at really good rates, might want to check them out as well.

I already answered this in your other post. If you want the best, check us out. You'll also find that we have a PROVEN history for building race 4L60E's. We are also the most reasonably priced racing transmission supplier. Our top of the line unit only runs $1400 + hard parts (if any). You won't find ANY stronger transmission available at any price. Other suppliers fall drastically short of what we offer in these units.
I'm not going to "bash" my competitors, but the only thing I'll say is this...Check out the history of whoever you're thinking about.

My tranny wound up lasting until 12xk but I basically drove it until it wouldn't go any further. Frank at CPT rebuilt it at a great (phenominal actually) price and was quick about it. And to top it off- he answered my tons of questions, showed me what went wrong and what was broken, gave me advice as to what application to choose, and has always been easy to get ahold of (phone or email).
