im gonna sell my v6 Maro for a v8 Z.....i found one for sale, 1800
i just gotta fix interior **** n gauges which is easy, only problem is that the blasted car is an AUTOMATIC

now i was thinkin bout droppin a t56 tranny in it, but dunno what i need to do this, other thn probably bellhousin n ****.

what else do i need to make this kind of swap? can someone help me figure out if its worth doin or should i just search for the Z with the stick?

 

I have done multiple swaps its a breeze after you have done it once. I have a friend selling a complete conversion kit. Do you live in Sacramento area? Thats where I live we could hook up or something If you want to see one I have done....my car

There are any number of threads concerning the A4 -> M6 conversion for the LT1 (or is your future "v8 Z" and LS1 or perhaps a 3rd Gen - might want to clarify that) , and some online guides. Might want to try a "search". This should be posted on the "Drivetrain" forum, not here on Advanced Tech.

yup im n the sacramento area. Ive heard of one guy who is selling a change-over conversion kit for $3200 over in Rancho if i wanna swap my v6 to the v8, but if its easier to just swap a v8 auto to a stick then im gonna do tht, just dunno what i need to ****n buy other thn the tranny.

what mods have u done?

I have cam headers and nitrous with all the bolt ons. I can do the whole conversion kit with a b&m shifter for $1800. I would do the install for $700 more. Or I can guide you on how to do it yourself. Some people would rather me do it because it can be intimidating. But I think any person who is mechanically inclined and has access to a good assortment of tools ca do it with out major problem. That conversion kit includes,flywheel and clutch,slave cylinder and all plumbing to the master cylinder,mastercylinder,u bolt for the master,the complete pedal assembly with hardware and switches,transmission shifter transmission crossmember and trans mount. the wiring pigtails.The only thing you have to have done is change your computer program which will cost you 50.00.we should hook up . pm me your number and we can hook up
