I went under to check out my suspected broken trans mount and this is what i found.... Both bolts missing...how did that happen? and one of the holes into the tranny for one of the bolts was stripped at the end somehow. Plus the mount was broken. So tomorrow were gonna try to tap the hole for a new bolt hopefully all goes well. Just wondering if anyone had this stripped hole problem before and what they did about it

I had them come loose a week after a transmission shop put the transmission in the car. I can only assume that they did as quality of job on putting those bolts in as they did rebuilding the tranny, since it lasted a whopping 8,000 easy miles.
