Anyone ever had this problem

I spun the top disc of my street twin on the input shaft. Made a God awful noise too as you can imagine. Anyone else have this happen before?? The input shaft is trashed and the top and bottom disc are done. Both are in the rebuild process

I would have to say it was a combination of 170K miles on the trans and almost 600 lbs/ft of tq. I had the tranny rebuilt and I had to replace the input, main, and output shaft as well as the 5th and 6th gear slider assy plus all the usual upgrade stuff. It was pretty wore out

hm...it did it to me and I only have 40k on the trans and no where near that torque.

You do a lot of power shifting, i.e. shifting without letting off the gas???
