Anybody Power shift?

To me, Power Shift+ + w/o clutch.

Speed Shift+ Clutch and Gas same time.

Anyway, wonder if T-56 is up to power shifting.

i wouldn't try shifting without using the clutch . but you can shift by not letting off the gas. it is jsut a mater of if your drive train can handel it clutch rear ect...

Then you don't know how to powershift... Perormance shifting without a clutch sounds stupid to me, I can shift my car all day without a clutch if I want to and sometimes I do when I am too lazy to push my McLeod. For you to shift without a clutch the rpms will have to match your speed and gear though, while your going wot your rpms will be waaay too high for the gear your trying to go in so it will try and syncronize to match the gears but the friction surfaces inside the tranny wont drop the rpms fast enough unless you wait for rpms to drop but if you tried to actually race like this you would probably end up with a timeslip somewhere in the 18s

BTW: Real powershifting is when you depress the clutch a little bit to allow it in gear but not totally disengaged.

Back in the 60's, a power shift was keeping the pedal to the metal and working the clutch pedal as fast as you can, no barely engaging etc.
