Question another convertor question

Can anyone suggest good ,inexpensive 3000 stall convertor. because I have to pay approx. 30% more plus duty Thanks in advance

www.thunderracing.com allthough its not too cheap its a great peice and you wont have to waste $$ the second time around because you get a free restall with in 2years of purchase, so you actually save if you look at it that way.

"Good" and "inexpensive" is a tough combo for a converter. There is no "free lunch" in converters. You pretty much get what you pay for. But you may not NEED an expensive converter. It looks like your car is pretty much stock, right? In that case, a good choice would be 12" Coan "Street Performance" unit. They run between $3-400. http://www.coanracing.com/

Don't forget that even with a mild converter you definitely need a good tranny cooler when running a higher stall. Definitely.
