i bought my 99 z off of a buddy of mine that couldnt afford it. the mods that I know of are as follows: long tube headers, y-pipe, control arms, piston rings, push rods, valve springs, air lid, forced cold air induction, chip. after about a day of having it i blow the tranny on it. i just got a used rebuilt tranny. is downshifting from 5 to 3 or 6 to 4 too much for the tranny ( or car in general)? i know im runnin close to 400 hp because i raced another Z that dynoed at 380 and i took him. what do yall think? is downshifting more than 1 gear too much??
