I need to get a new Driveshaft, but when i look it up in GM Parts Direct (part# 10085375) it says it is for an m6 trans. I have and A4. Can someone who has done the Aluminum Driveshaft install on a 94 Z with A4, let me know the info. Thanks

 

Im pretty sure the 1LE an LS1 aluminum driveshafts are interchangable between A4 and M6. Correct me if im wrong.

 

Both A4 and M6 driveshafts will work.

 

watch the for sale section of this board. It isnt too hard to find used aluminum driveshafts on here or ebay for around $100-$125.

 

The p/n you ref is the 2 3/4 dia 1LE dr shaft and will fit both the auto & manual on any 3rd or 4th gen (V8) cars. I have that same one on my car.
