ABS ring reluctor
Re: ABS ring reluctor
No you don't neeeed it. However, the answer is yes if you want your ABS and or TCS to work.
Maybe you can clarify why your asking. Do you mean "do i need to buy a new reluctor ring for the installation?" or something along those lines?
Are you even sure your car is even a 3 channel car (no traction control)?
Clarify and you'll get some better answers.

Re: ABS ring reluctor
Ok, i have 4 wheel abs. Pretty sure then it is 4 channel. But i have 2.73 gears, do i need the reluctor? Please anybody?? I am getting my gear installed tomorrow. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!!
Re: ABS ring reluctor
unless you have a three or two channel system then no you won't need it, if you did then yes cuz you've just changed the speed at which your rear end rotates. but personally i think abs is the worst thing ever invented and you should just try to get rid of it or program it out as soon as you can. but with a 4 channel system the sensor is at the wheels and its not possible for one wheel to move faster than the other unless you have different tires on it (or very good deep tread on the front and really bald tires on the rear).
