is abs different on the 94 than on the 97?

 

Cars that came with the traction control option have a 4 channel ABS setup, different from the standard 3 channel setup. The 2 rear axles have a reluctor wheel to sense motion on the 4 channel system; the 3 channel system has one sensor mounted in the top of the differential.
