About to replace my clutch...

And have a question on how the fork is removed. I have seen install websites where they say pull it off the TO bearing and some say you have to uncscrew it before fully taking out the tranny.

I do not understand since I see no reason why I cannot just fully pull out my tranny first and then get to my fork.

Any clarifications?

Thanks,

Ben

I dont think a T-56 has a fork but mine is a ls1 so it may be diffrent. I think you can do it 1 or 2 ways. 1 un do the quick disconnect and un bold the tranny and than remove the slave when it is out of the car. or you can do it the hard way (the way i did it) which is unbolt the tranny and have a couple buddys hold it up while you un bolt the slave from the tranny and pull it off the end of the input shaft.
Good luck, Dane
