Hope this is in the right section, since it's a trans issue, although in the cab area. My shifter doesn't cause the display next to it [P R N OD D 2] to actually show which gear it's in. What's the easiest way to pull off the cover and get this fixed? Is there something that commonly breaks causing this issue?

I'm hesistant because the plastic has been mistreated in the past and can be pretty brittle in some areas... I don't wanna force it and break it more because I don't know the disconnect points or something.
