I have a Transgo in mine and love it. Never had any problems.
I think most people probably use the Transgo kit.

check the boards, most prefferred is transgo
there is a reason behind it
b&m try to alter trannies differently
they try to increase line pressure instead of doing what transgo does: replace the parts in the tranny to make it shift better (firmer)
when you increase the line pressure (they do the same with their 20$ shift cable things too) it just causes the internals of the tranny to break down more rapidly, which you dont want
go with transgo imo

Use the Trans-Go Performance Shift kit (modified). If you want to increase the capacity of this unit with a 9.5" torque converter, change the 2nd gear valve body plate apply hole to .096, and make sure you use no more than one spacer in the accumulator, along with the Corvette servo. This will keep the 1-2 part throttle smooth and still firm at WOT. For 3rd & 4th gear change hole size to .155. I have found this to work extremely well in these units, especially if you want it to last in 10-11 second vehicles. This information is from Trans-Go. With the stock diameter torque converter change the 2nd gear feed to .086 (no washer), 3rd & 4th gear to .125. Go to http://www.pro-built.net/index.cfm?f...t&productid=91 for the modified Trans-Go Performance Shift kit.

I have a B&M tranny cooler.
It seems back in the day B&M was the way to go, but I don,t think they have kept up on technology that well.

It depends alot on who builds the tranny or installs the shift kit, B&M should hold up all right.
I think the biggest difference with the Trans Go is at part throttle the shifts are softer and WOT they are hard.
