a4 to 6 speed swap questions..gear vendor?

Ive been trying to decide wether to go with a th400/gear vendor setup or doing a 6 speed swap.A six speed wouldnt even be an option if a damn gear vendor didnt cost so much new..and i cant seem to find anyone selling one used which is why im thinking of just going with a 6 speed because the car is still mainly street and 3 gears without a vendor is just not an option.

does anyone know a link where i can find a complete parts list or tutorial for the actual swap for my 94 Z.i plan on maybe going with six speed inc for one of their m6 and doing a stage 3 spec clutch.

also if anyone has a diagram of exactly how to mount the pedals that would help also.thanks

if anyone reading this knows of anyone selling a used gear vendor def let me know..it will save the time/money of doing a conversion

Perhaps you should post in the drivetrain forum or parts wanted.

You really do not need a diagram to mount the pedals. The bolt pattern for the A4 pedals is the same as the M6 bolt pattern with the exception of the additional clutch pedal bolts. What I did, as well as many other people who have done the A4 to M6 conversion, is bolt the M6 pedal assembly where your A4 pedals previously were. While the M6 pedals are in place, mark the holes that must be drilled. Remove the M6 pedals, drill the new holes and reinstall the M6 pedals.

That's exactly what I did. I used a hole saw bit for the master cylinder hole. This is the guide almost all of us use:
