99 Camaro recall...manual trannies

Any one had this recall done to their car? My car has all the symptoms of what the recall describes: Clutch sticks, hard to shift, etc.

Theres no time limit for recalls right?

Hey, my friend is having a similar problem with his '00 SS. It shifts fine, but he says the clutch pedal sticks and the clutch slips when he shifts hard into 2nd. Clutch stinks bad after this. What model years does this recal apply to??

I believe its only a recall for the 99's. Thats the only year it showed for this. Screw it, next week I will take it in and have em do it for free anyway.

My car is hard to shift sometimes. Does the recall matter if the car is out of warranty?

I'm not sure how they would know that your car isn't affected by it, without actually looking at it. You could try calling GM and asking them about it. You are not supposed to be turned down for a recall repair, but if your car wasn't affected, which I have no clue how they know that over the phone, you are supposed to call GM.
