97 4L60E in a 95

Ok, back in March I had to replace my transmission. I had put a 94 transmission into my 95 Z. We had to disable code 83 to get the TC to lockup. Fast forward to now. just had a 97 transmission put in, with the 94's tailshaft due to the speedo connector being different. We re-enable this code since it applies to 95+ tranmissions, but my TC still isn't locking up. What can be the problem?

any trans codes,, you have to drive it with a scanner hooked up and see if the pcm is commanding the tcc on or not, and verify there are no trans codes or engine codes

make sure to use a scanner that can get trans codes and data not just engine data
