95 4L60E into 94 Z28

Title says it all, I'm picking up a '95 tranny with 34k on it to replace my thrashed 4L60E. Money is tight and its my only option at such a great price. I did some research and determined that if this is an early '95 tranny it will be a direct fit. If not it will have a different speed sensor and PWM. I can get the speed sensor from the guy selling it, but if you guys have any other tips on switching these transmissions out let me know. I need to gather as much information as possible, thank you!

Where is PWM stamped on the tranny, if at all? And by not work do you mean it will require a modification? I hear equal amounts of people claiming both sides, and clearly that is why I am so indecisive.

Got the VIN and called a dealer. Car was made on Nov. 6, 1994.

PWM or not?
