Angry 94 Z Cutch install - can't shift

Just installed a new clutch from Autozone into my son's 94Z (stock). No problems during the install. I can start the car in neutral or with the clutch pedal pressed. However, once started, I can not put it into gear - grinds. I can start it in gear with the clutch pedal pressed, and when I start to let off the clutch, it starts to grab but I can't shift gears.

I'm thinking that I may need to replace the hydraulics or that the fork is not fully engaged. Any other ideas?

i had that problem with my mcleod install their was air in the lines causing the the master cyl to not engage the clutch all the way so since it wasnt fully engaging i was locked out of the gears, try that first

Bleed it again this evening and it still is the same. If I start it in gear, with the clutch to the floor. Then I let it up about 1/2-1" and it starts to engage. Can't shift with the pedal all the way to the floor though.

hmmm is the stock hydraulics in the car? or aftermarket ones? with an adjustable master cuz i know with my adjustable one i hadda reinstall it because the nut on the threads was set too high so when i pushed the pedal down it was pushing too much fluid past the cup and making bubbles in the line, even after i bled an bled the lines if its not adjustable tho i dunno what else it could be, what kinda clutch is it from autozone? sometimes they dont have the most knowledgeable staff unfortunately about what they are selling maybe they gave you the wrong one? i dunno im jus throwin out some ideas seein if any make any sense to you ya know?

Stock hydraulics. No problem with it before the clutch went out. What are the chances that the hydraulics isn't pushing the clutch fork far enough? The clutch starts to grab with the pedal about an inch (if that) off the floor.
