4l60e differences (ls1 vs lt1)

Currently have a 96 stock fullsize truck 4l60e mated to me 94 lt1 in my truck. Are there any differences between say a 98+ ls1 4l60e and the 4l60e for an lt1?

From what I understand the bellhousing is removable, and needs to be swapped, correct? Mine now is not removable.

Any other differences? Input/output shaft, etc.?

Want to make sure before I commit to buying this. If I use a lt1 bellhousing with a ls1 4l60e, ls1 torque converter, and ls1 flexplate, is everything going to work? Do I need to change the starter.?

They have completely different bolt patterns.
