94 Camaro clutch fork bottoms on pressure plate.....HELP!!!

I has a thread on here a few months ago concerning a slipping clutch in my 94 Camaro that I purchased. It had a fresh 383 and lots of bolt ons. Well once I got it running correctly, the cluch let go at WOT. It had a complete Zoom Kevlar clutch kit. So I pulled the tranni and clutch to find out he installed the clutch backwards!!!! I purchased a new disc and re-assembled everything only to find the clutch fork is bottoming on the pressure plate. What did i do wrong here? It worked fine before, other than the WOT slippage. There seems to be only one way the fork snaps on the pivot. Am I missing something? Please help me!!!!!

When I changed over to the m6 I had the same problem show up after a few months. Turned out to be the bolt that the clutch fork pivoted on had loosened just enough to cause it to touch when I engaged the clutch. Might want to check that out.

Yeah but it seems weird that it was ok before the trans was pulled. Does anyone have any pics or diagrams of the clutch fork and pivot? Maybe the previous owner modified something so the clutch would work since he put the disc in backwards. Is the pivot roughly an inch long?
