Unhappy 94 camaro clutch bleed problem

The wifes car is a 94 camaro with 3.4 and a five speed. She busted the slave cylinder off the bellhousing. (don't ask me how) I got the bellhousing repaired and reinforced, installed a new clutch kit and a new slave cylinder. I followed the instructions to the letter but I cannot get the air out of the system. I know this has probably been covered here much before but It's driving me crazy. I don't know why the so called engineers at GM would put a plastic slave cylinder on such a flimsy bellhousing but thats a rant for another forum. Let me know what you think and Thanks a lot in advance. Dave
