9 inch vibrations!

Well I installed a moser 9 inch rear and a spohn driveshaft in my 97 camaro and it vibrates up around 70 mph and when I decel the whole car shakes badly. I tryed adjusting my torque arm and its set at -1.The other day I read their should only be 1/2 to 3/4 inch of travel when you disconnect the rear u-joint from the rear yoke and bottom it out into the transmission, I have about 6 inches of travel untill it bottoms out into the trans. I thought the moser 9 inch uses the stock length driveshaft. What do you guys think is this my vibration? Thats the only thing left it could be.

Re: 9 inch vibrations!

you need a longer shaft, sounds like your trans yoke is barely in the trans, very unsafe to drive this way

my 9" used the stock length shaft but i used the large 9" yoke that is about 1.5" longer than the shorter 9" yoke, they are out there, i just picked up a spare at a swap meet last weekend
