9 inch torque arm placement?

9 inch torque arm placement?

My question is pretty simple are the provitions for the torque arm on the moser 9inch on the third member or are they on the housing. i want to by the housing and axle from moser and then later build my own third memeber but my friends seem to think the third memeber is special due to arer torque arm.

There are 3 tubes welded to the housing and bolts that go through the tubes to hold the complicated torque arm support casting:

thank you very much!! is that a special torque arm just for 9inch or is that just a normal aftermaket one

That is a standard Spohn torque arm with some extra bracing added. Its in a 3,500# 30th SS 'vert that was running mid/low 8's.
