I found a 9 inch Moses with a full spool,converted to s10 disc brakes. The width from flange to flange is 62". Will this work in my car or will i have to run a different size wheel in the back? I just want it to be as easy as possible. I can get the rear for 300-400 and all I have to do is weld a t/a mount and change the ring and pinion as it came outbound a dirt car and has 5.++ gears in it. Any help in what will have to be done is appreciated.

 

Moser 9-inch TA mount, and no, they won't sell you one. Requires three bolting tubes to be welded to the center housing (there's one at the top you can't see).

 

That's a sweet setup. Will the slight width difference be negligible?

 

Strange shows the 4th gen hub flange-to-hub flange dimension as 64.72". They show the 3rd Gen as 61.72". Look at the mini diagram on page 77 of their online catalog.

You would need to run wheels with 3rd Gen offsets (16mm in the back for an 8" wide wheel).

 

Well I'm glad i got this rear end cuz mines is on its way out the door. I launched it the other day and it was peeling one wheel. The driver side for was the only one getting power lol.
