9 inch rear end brackets??

Anyone know where to get brackets to weld onto a 9 inch ford rear end to fit under a 4th gen besides stealing them from a 7.5 GM??

There's gotta be a company somewhere that sells the brackets seperate..

Never sean anyone marketing the brackets. You could try a metal fabrication shop using the stock rear as a model. The tricky part is the torque arm mounting plate.

The other challenge is narrowing the rear to the right width and generating back caliper mounting plates.

I doubt you'd find a place that sold just the brackets. Your best bet is to just pick up a broken 10 bolt off someone and cut off the brackets. You could get one for as little as $50 or so with internal damage.. Even if you did find someone selling the brackets it would cost way more than that I'm sure. As mentioned you will have to fabricate the TA mount though, which looks a bit tricky to me.

Re: 9 inch rear end brackets??

I used my stockers, cut them off with a plasma cutter. As far as the brakes are concerned use 4th gen f-body moser housing ends when you narrow it and your factory calipers will bolt right back up! I built my own torque arm bracket that worked o.k untill I started cutting minus 1.50 60fts then it bent, currie enterprises will sell you the bracket they use on their housings moser WILL not.
