Question 80Z28 th350C

Does any 1 know what the stall speed is of the 80Z th350c converter? I was told the 79,80 & 81 Z stalled higher than a normal car. I was told the Z` torque converter stalled around 1800 rpm.
How much rpm does the lock up th350C save I was told around 2oo rpm, another person told me 700 rpm. Any 1 know.???
Am asking because I have a new 350 with a nice cam,Vic.jr intake & was told to go with a bit higher than stock converter.thanks

Re: 80Z28 th350C

What is the duration and RPM range on the cam? Vehicle weight and gear ratio? Primary use of vehicle?
