700r4 vs. 4l60e

I bought a lokar tranny dipstick, the instructions say it's for a 700r4 package says 4l60e which I know is the tranny I have, would the fitting the goes into the pan be the same?

if im not mistaken...a 4l60e is just a computer controlled 700r4

That's what I was thinking but the fitting on this tube is enormo, I don't know maybe it is right......
