ive got a non-electronic 700r4 with no vss behind a 94 lt1 and am trying to figure out how to control the tcc. i had one of the painless kits on it before but didnt like how it worked. can i use the pcm to control it? ill post my wiring diagrams later, but any advice you might have now will be appreciated.

Re: 700r4 TCC control w/ 94 pcm
heres my idea. the wiring inside the pan for the solenoid (2nd pic) isnt stock, its what the kit i had called for. what im looking at doing is trying to get the computer to control the TCC based on brake signal and MAP. will it do it without a VSS signal? its ok if the comp keeps a constant TCC lock-up signal going b/c it wont activate the solenoid until the 4th gear pressure switch closes. all i want from the computer is a constant signal for lock-up until manifold vaccum drops (acceleration) of i hit the brakes. can it be done?

if those dont show up, here are the links

also, what kind of signal is the brake switch signal looking for? meaning- does the pcm disengage the tcc when the bss sees voltage or loses voltage? should the brake switch be n/o like in the drawing or n/c?
