700R4?s

How are the shift points changed on a 700R4? At WOT, the car runs to +/-5800 on the one-two shift but that changes to about +/-5400 on the two-three shift. Since I installed the AS&M 54mm throttle body the shifts seem soft and take longer. I played w/ the TV cable and it didn't really seem to change much. I understand that I will most likely have to install a TransGo kit to firm the shifts up but what changes the shift points?
Also, after installing the TB I never checked the IAC count or TPS voltage since it seemed to idle and drive OK. Could one of the be off bad enough to mess w/ the shifting? I don't think that it would matter but I don't know for sure.
Thanks

Not sure about the TPS and such, but I know the shift points are controlled hydraloclay(sp?), not by the computer. Try and get ahold of Frank(12SCNDZ) or Fred (Injuneer). Both are very knowledgeable in these tranny's.

There are "two" ways the transmission controls shift points, the shift timing valves, and the governor. The governor controls WOT shift points mostly. The Trans-Go Performance Shift will change the firmness and it will change the WOT shift points only slightly. If you want to raise or lower the WOT shift points, you will need the governor weight & spring kit from B&M.
