700R4 Leaking

I have an Art Carr 700R4. New tranny fluid lines where put on the car before I bought it. The previous owner let it sit for a couple weeks and when I went to look at the car there was about a softball size puddle of tranny fluid. After that he would let it run about everyday and it wouldnt leak any more. Same thing after I bought it. I can drive it for a day, let it sit untouched for the next day, and it wont leak. But after more than one day of sitting it will drip about a quarter size drop of tranny fluid each additional day. Im pretty sure from the drivers side. No fluid has been added after the leak started, but when I checked the fluid level, it was completely full. Is it mabey just overfilled and the excess is leaking out after it settles? If it were the lines that were replaced I would think it would leak all the time...

Re: 700R4 Leaking

Got around to checkin it out. It seems to be leaking from the drivers side where something connects into to upper part of the front of the tranny. It has a copper wire connected to it so Im assuming its the tranny temperature sender, right? It looks like teflon tape was used on it. I never use that stuff cuz from my experiences it always leaks. It dosent look like its too easy to get to to fix.
