6spd clutch pedal coming off of master??

6spd clutch pedal coming off of master??

anybody ever have a problem with the clutch pedal coming off of the master cylinder?? my car did this tonight and i cant figure out why.. but it was a fun spectacle to see me tearin apart the dash in the middle of the town so any fixes for this??

There's a retainer clip that might be missing.

lol, that happened to me a few weeks ago. I was trying to teach my gf how to drive a stick and the pedal went to the floor and stayed there. She thought she broke my car, but I found out my car never had that clip so it was just a matter of time until it fell off anyway. Went to the Chevy dealer and got a new clip for 4$.

So you know the exact name of the part when you ask for it at the counter, it is the Clutch Pedal Rod Retainer.
