When ever i put it n reverse it pops out and i have to keep putting it back in.. i know it probably needs rebuilt, will i have to have it all done or can they just fix the reverse? I have called around and cant find any place that works on standards...

its most likely because the synchronizer for the reverse gear is worn down. If its just the blocker ring its a cheap part to replace, if its the whole synchronizer assembly then its going to be more. The reverse gear is one of the first things you will see when you take the transmission apart and you don't need to disassemble the whole trans to replace the synch. (unlike 3rd gear , ask me how i know) Where are you located?
