Hey everybody, Im a semi new owner and lover of my Camaro Z28l. It's a 1998 5.7L Automatic transmission with a great body. I've recently noticed that 3rd gear is dropping off and nearly killing the car. I've had my mechanic look it over as well as swap the filter and fluids. He also did the fuel filter while he was at it. He says I need a new transmissions but I'm starting to think he's just trying to keep handing me big estimates. I've heard that the trans. might be adjustable and that that might help save me some money. Any ideas please!!! I'm a college student and out here in the middle of the pacific without a trusty mechanic. Help
