I have a 4L65E out of a silverado ss 2003. Is their anyway this will fit with the electronics in my 96? Can get an aftermarket unit to control it

 

Actually the electronis are a match. The issue would be the bell and converter spacing issues. The pilot on the converter is to long for the LT style engine. You would need to swap the input shaft, pump stator and bell to the LT type in order to get the trans to work .
Also unless you relocated the torque arm you will need a tail housing from a 98 up f body also.
