So just got my car back, drove it from LA to San Diego, then to Sacramento. Just as I got into Sac, the car has developed a vibration in gear only. If I put in Neutral and rev the engine, no vibrations. I'm thinking the tranny mounts? Thats the only thing I could think of, that they have come loose somehow. Any thoughts? The driveshaft is new and was balanced pre-install. There is no vibration when coasting in neutral at any speed, just in gear from low RPM on up to about 3k, where I've stopped letting the engine rev past.

Any and all help/ suggestions are much appreciate, Merry Christmas to all, not so much to me though.

 

I found that the vibration is from the motor itself and is just more pronounced when in gear. I'm gonna have to pull the motor and rebalanced the bottom end. Hopefully this will fix the issues and the car will be good to go afterwards....maybe. At anyrate its getting sold.
