well my 4L60E bit the dust 2 weeks back or so (big suprise huh?)

all my clutches in it were fried, exept for the reverse input drum,

but when i say fried, i mean it..

but im wanting to switch to a TH400 trans, its out of an 84 cutlass with a chevy 350 in it,

well my question is this.

how can i make this TH400 work with my car?

i know i have to buy the tourqe arm relocation bracket, and a new trans mount, but can i just swap out the tail shafts of the transmissions?

and as for the trans mount ive heard TH400s can work with mine with alittle mods?

can any one post pics or give me some hints?
