4L60E Surge Problem 3rd and 4th gear

I have a 1994 Camaro Z28 with 75k miles. Recently, I've been experiencing a surge of 100 - 300 rpms whenever I'm in a light throttle situation in 3rd and 4th gear. No computer codes. I did park the car after approx. 40 miles of driving. It should be noted opti/ignition system replaced last year. New injectors installed as well. Motor runs very well.

Researching the Internet, allot of forums point to installing a Transgo shift kit and corvette servo. Other sites reference installing the Sonnax valve. The car has the typical air/exhaust mods and the Hypertech III program. I'm not looking for a drag strip demon - just want to fix this problem.

Can someone steer me in the right direction? Thanks.

with a 94 you do not have PWM so the TG will not help you may have a bad converter clutch
