4l60e question

alright guys well the story goes like this....I went out to start my car this morning and when i shifted the car into drive the car would just not move forward. It does not grab any of the forward gears but it does move in reverse. I checked the oil and that was not the problem so im stumped now im clueless once it comes to transmissions. I have came to the conclusion that something expensive probably broke so now here comes the main question of the thread. i have a 95 4l60e transmission that was originally in the camaro back when it was a v6 and it works great. I did a full lt1 swap so i just kept the transmission that was bolted onto the lt1. I need to know if its possible to somehow swap some parts around to make the v6 transmission work because all the internal parts on the tranny are in great condition. Remember i have both a v6 and v8 4l60e and they are both 95's. im just looking for a cheaper solution then going out and buying a new transmission. Thanks in advance
