4L60E question

Is there a difference in the six and eight cylinder 4L60E transmission? Friend needs one for an lt1 and both are availabe at different prices.

I suppose that means that his lt1 with a few mods will lunch the six banger xmission. Told him there was a reason for the price difference.

If he has a 94 then he needs a tranny out of a 94.

It is a '95...is anything other than a 94 ok and is it like the t56 and needs to be from an lt1 car?

95 can be from 95-97 car. Needs to be from an LT1, f-body. LS1's are different.
