4l60e problems!?!
Just had my trans completely rebuilt 500 miles ago, the other day Im at a stop sign, pull it to 1st gear and turn the corner and bang, seemed to lock up. Shifted to 2nd it was fine and drove away ok.. Come to a stop light and left off the brake in (drive) the car dont move? I have a vig. 2800 stall, so I give it gas revs up quite a bit and barely moves then after about 10-15 mph drives away fine.. Im guessing its taking off in 2nd gear.. But if you lock it to 1st while moving 2-3 mph it locks up? Well took it back in, the guy check all the parts, pressure checked it everything is fine.. My line pressure is max 130 psi @ 93.5 and 100% thottle and goes down from there.. Trans temp is about 130-140 most the time.. What would the problem be? He said if you lock it to 1st gear while your stopped it goes fine? Any help would be great..

Ok in a way it sounds like your in limp mode but the max line your giving is quite low for 100 percent throttle are you sure Thats correct?
Second I see you said he did presure test and checked parts but did he scan for codes. Honestly it sounds like your going into limp mode and are always in thrid gear other than when you manually downshift to first which will actually put you in second for the start.

Did you use the transgo HD2 kit during the build if so yes thats limp mode you will be in 3rd gear except when you place in manual low then it will be like the brakes applied do to the swapped 1-2 shift valve

how do i fix this? Im not sure what trans go kits in it, i know its trans go though.. And it worked fine, then at a stop sign when i locked it in first it jerked bad when i took off, and nothing but problems after that..
