4l60e lock-up comes and goes,
4l60e lock-up comes and goes,
my 4l60e in my 1995 camaro was just rebuilt and it wont lock-up in 4th 9 out of 10 times but when it works, it works great, there are no codes and no other problems, any ideas??
What converter is in it? A non lock-up/floating issue can be caused by several dofferent reasons. One is the converter, itself. We've seen cheaper converters do this from initial install. The lock-up solenoid, tcc regulator valve, or computer inputs could be other causes.
You might want to run the car with a scanner to check your data information. Make sure the computer isn't commanding it to come out of lock-up. The input shadft in the transmission can wear where the lock-up o-ring rides, also.
Shouldn't your transmission builxder be addressing this issue?
