4L60E Interchangability

Hey guys, What cars/trucks if any other can I use a 4L60E out of.
What year F-bod/other trans will work in my car without electronic modifications.

I'm looking for which years will plug in and go.
I've got a 96 Z28.

95-97 will plug and go.

94 has a different lock up mechanism, and 93 is a 700R

Okay, thats what I thought...
I've had some people tell me that 95 wont work because it is obd1?

Is there any truth to this?

The computer doesn't see if the transmission is OBD1 or OBD2. 95-97 all function the same way. OBD1/OBD2 is for the engine.
