4l60E to 700R4 conversion.

How difficult is it to transform a '94 4l60E to a non electric 700?

I have a buddy interested in a project, and we are considering useing y old 4L60E. It runs fine, it just isn't getting used since I got my PBA 4l60E, and it only has 26K.

Thoughts?

I have a buddy with an 85 suburban that wants to replace his 240K 700r4. So your saying it would be pretty hard to do?

yes the 4l60e requires and ecm to control it so you would need and aftermarket controller , It would probably be cheaper for him to just order a unit
