Well about 2 weeks ago the pump went out in my 4l60e,(broke the rotor) i replaced the pump with a used pump i had, everthing else in the trans was good, also replced 3-4 pack. now the trans wont lock-up in 4th unless you let off the gas and give it a second to idle going like 55 then it will lockup, also it has a flare shift from 2-3 on the nitrous but is fine on motor, does this sound like low pump pressure? before it was 230 wot in gear if its like 190 now how can i raise it?

were both pumps from the same year 4L60E? I'm not exactly sure what mixmatching a non PWM pump and a PWM pump will do, but I'm sure it would cause some lock-up issues.
Did the original pump have a high RPM pump slide spring or a bigger pressure regulator valve/sleeve?

both pumps are 1995 pumps and i put new high rpm spring in the pump and .490 boost valve. same as what was in the old pump.

Did you install new teflon rings on the support? Was the stator support in good shape? Did you check the TCC solonoid screen for trash? New pump bushing? Even torque on the pump body bolts? In what kind of shape were the fwd drum bushings. How were the input shaft teflon seals? Lots of little things in that area can contribute to a pressure loss.

well line pressure warm is 170-190 wot. cold 220 i would like 225-235 warm, thats where it was before.

well i got the trans apart and the 2-3 pack was .030 off it should have been set at .030 and it was .060 would this cause the 2-3 flare shift? but all the seals look good what would cause the lock-up problem?
